![]() ![]() The major problem here is that the platform to the left of the plant gets weighed down by Bob-Ombs. You'll need to freeze the Piranha Plant as it emerges to use as a platform, allowing you to enter the red pipe. The latter is a warp pipe that takes you to the final coin. At the very end of the level where the warp pipe leads up to the flag, there's a green horizontal pipe with a Piranha Plant in it, and a red horizontal pipe above it. ![]() It also requires an Ice Flower, which are in ample supply in this level. This takes some serious Mario skills, you up for it? Good, we thought you were. This final coin is not for the weak of thumb. An ice block will coast off the platform right into the coin if the platform is near the upper position. Make sure the platform is a bit higher than the coin before you attempt to chuck the enemy at it. You'll need to toss an enemy at this one, or, better yet, a frozen enemy. The second coin is floating under an overhang to the left of a platform that's sensitive to weight. Use the blue pipe to wall-jump towards the coin. Use the POW to clear the area of Bob-Ombs first. This will lead you to a bonus room with the third and final Star Coin. The first coin in this level is just opposite a POW block. Star Coin 3: Screw the third Screw Mushroom after the second Star Coin, or the fifth after the checkpoint, then quickly run right until you reach a downwards-facing green Warp Pipe. Then quickly wall jump up into the ceiling where some coins are pointing upward, and the Star Coin will be there. Star Coin 2: After the checkpoint, screw the second Screw Mushroom.Either throw a Mechakoopa at it, or use a Propeller Suit to get it. Star Coin 1: Right before the checkpoint, this Star Coin will be in plain sight over a pit.Fight him as you would with another Koopa boss, using the Stretch Shrooms to your advantage. has a similar battle strategy as the one he uses in the original New Super Mario Bros.
